?My hips had been getting pretty sore and I was getting a deep ache (not pain) in my knees (like the cushion in my knee joint felt swollen or something). Since I can get such a strong drive, especially when it comes to running and goal setting, I needed the help and encouragement of my family to see that I needed to give myself a few days off this week. (my latest goal was to run/walk through week 27 not to week 27)
Anyway, Tuesday was my last 1:1 walk/jog. I walked 5m on Wed. and took yesterday completely off (due to time constraints). that my hips and knees both have felt fine since Tuesday.
I know it is more important for me to be able to run the rest of my life than to run the next 3 months, but I feel a little lost and a little sad all the same. I am happy to be able to continue to walk I was thinking of setting a simple goal of 10,000 steps/day (5 miles) between walking and our elliptical (not my favorite, but I am grateful to have an option)
Anyway, thank you to all you guys who have shared your most inspiring stories, and encouraged me by being so transparent. You all are the best!
