Cleveland seems to come out of hibernation every March for the first big road race of the year, the St. Malachi 2 and 5 mile run/walk. Whether you are eager for the start of an exciting road race season, sick of the treadmill and need some new motivation, or looking to start the St. Patrick Day celebration, this is the perfect race for you.
This year join over 3,000 runners with their green gear, sweat beaded brow, and oh so attractive long spandex for a fun and competitive run through the Flats and Ohio City. It a great race to test your endurance and to evaluate your winter training. The 30th annual St. Malachi run will benefit St. Malachi outreach service.
Runners enjoy this road race because of the friendly crowd, and because it’s for a good cause. Also, there will be a post race party at McCarthy Downtown. So strap on your running shoes and get out there to set a new PR, smile, and have some fun.
Date: Saturday March 13th 2 mile race: 9:00am/5 mile race: 9:45am
Location: St. Malachi Church 2459 Washington Ave.
