Police in Augusta, GA say that Thelma Carter used one of her stiletto heels to kill her boyfriend, Robert F. Higdon. The woman notified police after she fled the scene, but returned to find Higdon dead.
It not clear how many times Carter struck her boyfriend with the heel, but police say Higdon suffered serious head trauma.
Carter used the stiletto against Higdon, but it not clear if striking him was in self defense, or if Carter was just insanely angry. In any case, it a bizarre death.
Obviously, shoes are deadly weapons. Especially a stiletto heel, and one that a long, spiky type.
