Hi, my is Susan Jacobs a Personal Style Image Consultant and I’m here today on behalf of Expert Village to talk about dressing the petite body. In this clip we’re going to be talking about footwear. My favorite and a favorite to all of you lady’s, I know it. One thing about being a petite as far as I’m concerned is I’m always looking for a footwear that’s going to make me look a little taller. Also, most of us want to look as slim as possible and how we get that is with the pointy toe. A lot of my client tend to cringe when I say pointy toe, but pointy toe doesn’t necessarily have to be uncomfortable. This is called a D’Orsay Pump, it is the most comfortable of all footwear and the heel is low, it has a pointy toe which adds the most flattery as again, anytime there’s a point it’s mostly making us look taller and finishes us off with class. Round toes, although very stylish tend to add weight. Think of this saying, round adds pounds. If you like the round toe pumps be sure to wear it with height and maybe a little bit of a soft round, not complete round. Lastly, open shoes are very flattering for a petite frame. It’s easy to wear an open shoes in the summer, but as the weather gets cooler and fall comes upon us, you can still opt for wearing shoes that have a pea toe front that are slingback and are lighter weight in the sole. So as to not draw the eye down, again you want to keep the eye up. If it’s a fabulous pair of shoes make sure they’re dark.
