Parents worry their children who run barefoot will step on animal droppings or get parasites through the pores in the bottom of their feet. How safe is running barefoot? It’s a hot topic to debate.

Current research now focuses on the health benefits of walking, walking, working, and sleeping on the bare ground to normalize the electricity in your body. If you look at the study in Nature, the debate is still on regarding running or walking barefoot and injury.
