I got into running about six months Nike Roshe Run ago. About a month ago, I noticed that my index toenail on one foot was a little bruised. Pretty much the Nike Free Run whole bottom half of the nail is a purplish blue (not black, and not falling off (yet)). I tried to take it easy and ice the toe, and while it not really worse, it not really better either. Frankly I miss running, but I really rather my toenail not look like this and not fall off. Is there anything I can do to help it heal? More Nike Free Run ice?
I not running that far 2 2.5 miles per run, three times a week. I know it probably means my shoes are too small, but I had these shoes since I started running with no problems. The only thing that changed is the weather finally got nice enough to run outside instead of on a tread mill I wonder if maybe variations in incline are to blame.
