?Hi I’m Angela with Freestyle Fashionista and today I’m going to show you how to glue rhinestone trim to a shoe. The first suggestion I have is a glue suggestion. E 6000 glue is a great all purpose glue. I do suggest buying this nozzle tip because this glue can really make a mess. And then the first thing you want to do is start section by section. This nozzle will make it to where the glue doesn’t come out too fast and you have control because some glue, as you know, can make a mess and ruin your rhinestone trim. So you just want to go along the top of the first section and then go ahead and let’s stick that to the shoe. E 6000 glue is great. Once it dries there’s no moving it. But it does give you a few seconds to adjust the trim so that you have the perfect fit. Okay so you have the very first section. Now you just want to go ahead and move onto your next section. I like to follow the line of the shoe as well. I’m not trying to add too much of my own design. It’s good to do the top of the shoe first before you start getting super creative and going down into the body of the shoe because this might be just enough. So I would say to start with something like this. Whether you’re going to use a plain rhinestone or a trim like this. And you can see I cut it because I’m only going to bring it down half way. And that was just a design choice. There’s no reason for that obviously. That’s what’s fun about DIY is that you get to design your own. Alright so that is the first side. See how great that goes on? E 6000 glue is amazing. I’m a fan. And now we’re just going to do the other side. And you want to go ahead and let this dry overnight like everything that we do. So that when you put it on it’s not going to fall off. And my last tip about this glue is that when you’re done using it you definitely want to put the lid back on because it’ll keep coming out. Okay. Press that on firmly. Go back over it, give it a nice squeeze. Alright, that is how you glue rhinestone trim to a shoe.
