Yeah, Camo is definitely more of a fashion forward kind of thing but the back blade longer goes with the whole faux sprezz thing along with the normal unbuttoned cuffs, undone [dub] monk straps, unbuttoned button down collars etc. Why don I just walk around with my fly down and call it sprezz?
Some men that would otherwise be amazingly well dressed ruin it with the back blade being tied longer detail, at least for me.
(which strikes me as a flavor of hipster)I dress that way three or four days a week, so it feels pretty normal. I wearing shorts and a t shirt right now, because it 100 degrees here in LA today and I have no meetings or interviews in the office.
I generally only wear a suit for business meetings / conferences, tapings of my public radio show Bullseye or PTO and Special Occasions like weddings or whatever. My boyfriend and I just moved into a college town where everyone seems to live in workout gear, and we suddenly a little self conscious about our wardrobe of comparatively dressy daily wear. You been a great motivation for us to keep working at our individual aesthetics, even if we might feel out of place in the land of basketball shorts and hoodies. Thanks for being wonderful.
Have you always tried to project the sharp, snazzy aesthetic that you now have, or did it take a change in perspective and/or confidence to start putting more thought and effort into the way you present yourself?We have a pretty straight forward editorial policy, and I working to try and come up with something more comprehensive.
