Today, I’m going to show you how to make ribbon roses for hair bows. So here I have a little bow and I’m going to hot glue it onto this clip to make a hair barrette. And then I’m going to show you how to make the ribbon rose to put on it. I’m going to set that aside. I’m going to make a little ribbon rose just like this by taking your ribbon and you just want to fold over the edge, apply a little bit of glue, be careful not to burn yourself. Fold it under, apply a little glue, fold it under, do this just a few times to kind of get the center bud, if you will. Then once you have that established a little bit what you’re going to do is twist it and glue it. Like this, and twist and glue, and just keep building it up like this until you get it to the size that you want to. And that is how you can make a ribbon rose for a hair bow.
