I just had one of these. My son cut himself on his father razor over the weekend. This was predictable to anyone but me at the time. I saw him holding the razor and told him it was dangerous and put it back (he 1.5 and fairly compliant). He did. Then he did what he often does immediately after complying with my request to put something interesting down. He picked it back up. I fussed at him louder and he put it back down and I saw the blood on the blades and he was touching things with his bloodied fingers. I had only one contact in and couldn really see anything and had to wait to get the other one out before helping him, but not before freaking him out by telling him to stop touching things and stop picking at it (like he could understand me). Then I tried to make it stop bleeding by holding a cold, wet tissue over the wound. He wasn having any of it. I finally got it to stop bleeding by running cold water over it in the sink, but then lil man wouldn let me get the peroxide to disinfect. Daddy had to be called in to calm everyone down. Why didn I just snatch the razor from him in the first place? I just did not believe he was going to cut himself.
