Okay, so I had to skip my run on Sunday (and today) because my knees have been hurting. The pain originated in the inner parts of my knee and it hurts when I put a lot of force of the knee (like in running). The pain has seemed to disperse, and it hurts less than it did before, but my left knees still seems to hurt enough that I think I couldn go running. What can I do to make it heal quicker? What would have caused this knee pain?My shoes are pretty worn down, so I guess that could be a concern. I could actually just use the new shoes I got not all that long ago.

I tend to land on a heel (but it doesn feel like I am striking my heel with all my momentum). I hit with the heel and try to shift the momentum to my forefoot. I briefly tried to run on the balls of my feet, but when I get tired, I tend to want to revert to the other.
