Air Jordan 5s 200 feet into the Delaware Water Gap This river gorge

The Kittatinny Ridge (meaning “Endless Mountain” in the Lenape Native American language) comes to an abrupt, spectacular end at Mount Tammany. The 1,527 foot ridge plunges 1,200 feet into the Delaware Water Gap. This river gorge, one of New Jersey’s most acclaimed natural treasures, has attracted painters, hikers, canoeists, and fresh air lovers since the 1800s. Today the great resorts are burned or gone bust, but the Gap remains, protected within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The gorge serves as gateway to the Upper Delaware River Valley, a tapestry of folded mountains, tumbling waterfalls Air Jordan 5s and forested bottom land supporting black bear, migrating golden eagles and spawning shad.

Great hike, my girlfriend and I took the red dot trail to the peak and completed the loop by following the blue blazed trail down to the AT and then back to the dunfield natural area parking lot. The hike up is relatively strenuous by way of the red dot due to the quick and constant elevation gain. However the hard work is worth it because the several views you will encounter (particularly the summit view) are some of the best I have seen in the tri state area. In addition, following the blue blazed trail down through Dunfield creek is amazing. The waterfalls and streams make for a perfect spot to relax, have a snack, take some great pictures, and maybe even dip your feet in the cool water. All in all this is a very rewarding hike and a great way to spend some free time. As an aside, parking at trailhead can get pretty crowded as the morning goes on so i would recomend going fairly early. You are then faced with a steep rock wall that looks harder to climb than it actually is. Once up that wall, it is a fairly steep and steady climb up rocks to the top. Real nice views of the river from about Air Jordan 16s halfway up and then again at the top. I dont know about the 3 4 hour rating on this trail; I am only in average shape and did the climb up in One hour 10 minutes, and down in 50 minutes for a total of two hours. I came down red dot trail too. Be careful coming down! Overall a good trail that is somewhat strenous, but not a real ‘challenging’ trail. Good for families or just for a quick walk.

This was an excellent hike; but not as hard as the trail write up implies. It was snowing when I arrived at the trail at 830 am. The ground was covered (except the rocks) at the top. The first portion is a steady climb to the summit; take your time on this part and enjoy the views. By the time I reached the top, I was in the fog, so Air Jordan 15s I didn’t get to see Nike KD 7 the great views from there. On the way down I received a great surprise on the way down. Dunnfield Creek is a gem; the crystal clear stream, the waterfalls, and the fall foilage made for some extraordinary pictures. I am glad that I had my digital camera with me. I don’t know if I will ever get back this way, but if I do I want to have a clear day to see the views from the top.
