I was blessed with an amazing dad, a very hard working man who always provided all our needs and wishes even if it meant working two or three jobs.
As young as 5 years old I remember my dad coming home and always in a good mood, he always loved to cook, and did a great job at it, every Sunday he made our lunch and dinner, it was awesomely delicious.
At around 9 years old I accidently started a fire on the furniture store he was the general manager at, but he was always calm and showed Air Jordan 16s mercy whenever I did my very dumb and thoughtless actions.
But it was not till I turned ten and we move to another town where he was offered a better job that I saw the strength and the love my father had for me and our family; it all started in a very sunny day I remember clear as if happen today, me and my friends had planned to go jump the walls of these Country Club to use their pool, so we all left very early in the morning to walk there.
My father went to work as usual, but did not see me that morning, as usual on Mondays he went to deposit the weeks earning of the store that he carried on a suitcase at a bank near by, but that day as he was on the banks side walk a man called his name, and told him to get in the car or his son would die. There was four man in the car armed and even though he did not see me there Air Jordan 8s he went in.
They drove my dad about ten miles out of town, and told him to get out, so he asked them where I was, at that time they replied that I was already dead while laughing at him, at that time they started to get back into the car when my father told them that he was going to folow them wherever they went, that was when two of them got out and shot him at his feet saying, than you will have to crawl, well he did, he crawled 4 miles to the highway and was lucky enough to get a ride to the store, where he than was driven to my house, he refuse to be brought to the hospital, he just wanted to see me.
At the same time he got shot, I was jumping out of the Country club as we got caught and had to get out, but unfortunately to me the only part of the 8 feet wall left to be jumped had nails sticking out so I had my hands puncture by the nails, me and my dad gave the same exact time to the cops, that is how we know, and after searching my house and a lot of blood lost my mom, and one Air Jordan 13s of his workes that drove him home were able to make him go to the hospital, so as he turn the street me and my friends were walking down the street and he saw me, stopped the car and called me, I ran scared to him as I had no clue of what happend, as I got close I notice the blood in his shoes, and he hugged me so tight and crying saying I love you, not yelling, not complaining about getting shot, just happy that I was alive, my heart that day broke, he got operated on and they Jordan Pro Strong took most of the scrap metal in his feet, and they let him go home that day, I stay at the hospital because of the whole thing really got to me.
Born in Brazil, moved to the USA at the age of 19 filled with dreams and courage, his passion for learning helped him to strive hard to accomplish his visions and overcome the trials of learning new cultures, languages in this amazing country called United States of America.
Never had a chance to spent a day in school in the USA, but worked hard not to keep him from Air Jordan 4s doing what he loves to do, encourage and inspire people with simple but heartfelt words actions that may bring a transformation in the way others see life, family, love, and faith!
