Most of the time the songs are cheesy, old, or overplayed. Zombie GirlZombie Girl is a Candian indie group that came about in 2005. The music centers on horror and dark humor, perfect for Halloween. Jordan Winterized 6 Rings Their music is described as electro industrial and as such the music often has a great dance beat. A favorite of mine would be “Creepy Crawler” it has a good beat to dance to, the lyrics are both creepy and addictive, and it suits the holiday perfectly.
The best thing about Zombie Girl is that they are about as far from such songs as “Monster Mash” and “Thriller” as it’s possible to get. Definitely not the Halloween music your parents listened to!
Have You Heard Of This Band Before?Have you heard of Air Jordan Fusion 5 Zombie Girl before this lens? Yes. His music is eclectic, bouncy, and has very catchy lyrics. It’s usually described as goth cabaret. The subjects range from dark humor and goth culture inspired songs to songs about Star Trek. Many people know him from his song “Brains!” from the Cartoon Network show The Grim Adventures of Billy Mandy.
Voltaire’s music is Jordan Pro Strong very tongue in cheek and funny. It’s hard to get through some of his songs without laughing at the absurdity and puns. His music is more in line with the fun side of Halloween while still maintaining a good deal of adult humor and laughs.
Creature FeatureCreature Feature Jordan Retro 10 is a band from Los Angeles that adores Halloween. They say they draw their inspiration from carnival music, horror movies, Halloween, and Edgar Allen Poe among other things. The combination works perfectly for them. The music is fun, the lyrics catchy and memorable, and the flavor is distinctly dark humor.
It’s very hard to get some of Creature Feature’s songs out of your head. “Grave Robber at Large” and “Gorey Demise” come to mind as two that are particularly addictive.
